Thanks a lot for your help with writing stats! You're doing a great job!
I noted a couple of things that I should point out about stat writing. A number of characters have stories or chapters named for them; make sure you disambiguate their character links appropriately, like this:
Mecha Easter Bunny
(I'll point this out in the rules page.)
The first appearance of a character establishes their initial status. By default, this is Alive. If their initial status is something other than Alive, it should be specified at their initial appearance, like this:
Mecha Easter Bunny (AI)
By the way, this also applies for some kills. The default state for a killed character is Dead (or Offline if they're AI). If their new state should be different than the default (e.g. when a character is "vampirized"), you specify it:
Valerie killed Sam (undead).
One more thing: A kill or death statement implies that everyone mentioned in the statement has an appearance, so it isn't necessary to state an appearance for those characters in the same day. (If a character kills or is killed without actually appearing, you can use the "did not appear" statement.)
Thanks again for your help with the stats! Keep up the good work! --AlternateTorg 19:28, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
How far ahead from your "note to self" are you with writing stats? I'm getting close to Aftermath, which you've already done, and I'd like to jump ahead then, but preferably far enough that I don't invalidate any work you've already done. Currently, I'm looking at Chapter 19 as the jump-to point. Eques Concordia 18:28, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
