"An invention of Riff"[]

I'm not sure how to change that line, but that claim is not supported by anything in any story. They just appeared, and initially in Bun-bun's use. Ville V. Kokko 13:51, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Well, since Zoë asks Riff what they're called, I assumed that implied he made them. -DaveRhodes 00:12, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

That's nowhere near a strong enough implication to just state it (for one thing, she could have perfectly well asked him even if she knew they were Bun-bun's invention originally, assuming she could even remember that), and it was Bun-bun who used one first, with no sign of involvement by Riff. Well, the clockjerk dudes seem to be in Riff's possession. He and Torg have apparently easy access to them when they need to use them as decoys. He seems to at least have made Clockjerk Riff. Clockjerk Torg looks to be about the same design, so it would stand to reason that he made them both. I also don't see Bun-bun wasting that much effort to rob kids on Halloween. It'd be much more his style to have encountered the clockjerk dudes in Riff's place and stolen Clockjerk Torg for the night. Yeah, all my reasons are pretty speculative, but it just makes sense that Riff made them over Bun-bun. I'll change the wording to make more clear that it's left to spec as to who really built the clockjerk dudes. - DaveRhodes 07:23, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Title[]

And, I just realized, Riff first called them by the name "clockwork dudes". I don't know on what basis Zoë's version supercedes it. Ville V. Kokko 19:19, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Zoë's version supercedes it because it's more accurate ::gwynn::. We'll have to wait and see if they appear again to see if the name sticks, but I'm predicting it will... -DaveRhodes 00:12, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

A highly subjective reason, but as long as we have no proper rules for that kind of thing on this Wiki, it'll work. Ville V. Kokko 07:04, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
